Payment Options for Treatment
The cost of care should never be
the reason a woman does not get it.
Insurance:
Canopy Pines works with most major commercial insurance plans. The Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act requires that insurance plans cover mental health and substance use disorder treatment at the same level as physical health care. Coverage varies by plan, but many women are surprised by how much their plan covers once it is actually verified. Our admissions team does that verification directly, at no cost, before any financial conversation happens.
Self-Pay:
For women who are uninsured, whose plan does not cover residential treatment, or who prefer not to involve insurance, self-pay options are available. Our admissions team will explain current rates and available payment structures directly and without pressure.
What Impacts Cost:
Length of stay and the clinical services a woman requires determine cost. There are no preset packages. Women are not billed for services they do not receive. Clinical need, assessed by Dr. Jorandby and the team, drives both what is provided and what is billed.
FAQ'S
Does insurance usually cover residential treatment?
Many commercial plans include meaningful coverage for residential substance use and mental health care. Federal parity law requires it. The only way to know what your specific plan covers is to verify it. We do that for free, with no obligation.
What if I cannot afford treatment?
Call us and have the honest conversation. We will tell you what options exist and be straightforward about what we can and cannot do.
Will my employer know I am in treatment?
The Family and Medical Leave Act provides eligible employees with up to 12 weeks of protected leave for serious health conditions, which includes addiction treatment. We can provide documentation to support an FMLA request. Speak with your HR department about your specific eligibility.
