Mackenzie Davis, BSN, RN, serves as the Director of Nursing at Canopy Pines Recovery Center, where she oversees nursing operations and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care for women navigating mental health and substance use recovery.
Mackenzie has spent most of her nursing career in acute inpatient behavioral health, caring for adults and children experiencing psychiatric crises, co-occurring disorders, and substance withdrawal. Her experience includes medication management, crisis intervention, detoxification, and nursing leadership in fast-paced behavioral health settings. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Nursing Leadership with a goal of eventually getting her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is passionate about building clinical systems that support exceptional patient care, provide safety for patients and staff, and empower nursing teams.
Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys reading fantasy novels, playing video games, exploring abandoned places, and spending time with her husband and cat. She values curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning, and believes that caring for yourself is needed to care for others.
